Mastana is an annual charity show that celebrates the talent and culture of Cambridge’s South Asian community. The variety show is run students at the University of Cambridge. Presented CUHCS since 1996, Mastana has attracted up to 1000 people and raises thousands of pounds each year for its charities.

Due to its popularity, Mastana is now held at the presitigious Guildhall in Cambridge. With an average committee size of 25 students and 100 performers each year, Mastana is the largest Asian cultural show in East Anglia. It is also the best attended student event in the region, with over 500 students, professionals, and friends and family of the team in attendance. The show provides the opportunity to showcase the finest talent Cambridge has to offer, from music to dance, theatre to fashion, whilst giving back to our local and global communities.

Above all, Mastana brings together individuals from a diverse span of backgrounds to celebrate and appreciate South Asian culture. We aim to create and strengthen bonds within our own community, whilst at the same time having a larger positive impact on our global community through our chosen charities.
